Help Line
In December 2006, TWC2 launched a helpline service to complement its growing public profile as an advocate for migrant workers in Singapore. It is available for workers who are seeking information or assistance. Through the helpline, TWC2 has been able to aid workers who have encountered issues such as illegal salary deductions and physical abuse.
The helpline has needed the support of donors in order to pay for it's utilities and management.
Our first helpline training programme started in September 2006. It was held over ten successive Sundays and the volunteers sat a test at the end. A second group of volunteers began training on 2nd May 2007.
Our motto is and still a promise to all "When you need a friend"
