Looking Forward: TWC2's Third Annual General Meeting

On a hot Sunday afternoon, thirty members squeezed into the TWC2 office for our latest annual general meeting (AGM). The previous year's work was summarised, proposals for the coming twelve months were considered and a new Executive Committee was elected. At this time a year ago, the office we had was too small to hold such a meeting in; we had 30 paid up members, and now we have over 100.

IMD 2006: New Help Line Launched -1800-888-1515

On December 17th, TWC2's new help line was launched and nineteen people who have volunteered to staff it were honoured at a gathering to mark International Migrants' Day (IMD). The nineteen had gone through a training course, giving up their time on ten successive Sundays, and then they sat an exam at the end of it. They have committed themselves to share in staffing the help line over the coming year.
