Helpline Full-Year Report
TWC2 completes its full-year report on the helpline service. This report contains a summary and overall evaluation of the kind of calls we have received. It also indicates how we see the helpline developing.
TWC2 has been operating its helpline service for all migrant workers in distress. In short, we found the helpline is often used by concerned members of the public as well which further shows the awareness-raising initiatives have struck your hearts.
We are currently running our third training course for helpline volunteers. We are also attempting to raise money to support the work of the helpline and would like to secure enough to support the hiring of a social worker (part-time, at least) to help us to cope with the increasing workload.
We hope that the report will be of interest to you. We believe that it can help to highlight areas of particular concern and hope that it will encourage remedial action.
